Tonight, Joseph Dreams & Little Stars takes to the stage for the very last time. 🌈🎭 What an incredible journey it has been — full of dreaming, rehearsing, creating and coming together as one big Little Earth family.

A special word of thanks to our amazing dads who stepped into the spotlight as the brothers — you brought so much fun and heart to this show! 💛 To all our parents, our incredible staff, and everyone behind the scenes who poured their time and love into the decor and every little detail… this magic would not have been possible without you.

Tonight, we celebrate you all. One last time, let’s make it unforgettable. 🌟

✨ IT’S CONCERT WEEK! ✨

After weeks of rehearsals, excitement and so much hard work, Joseph, Dreams and Little Stars is finally almost here!

We could not be prouder of our Little Earth children, our incredible teachers and team, and the parents who have jumped in wholeheartedly to make this production so special.

And of course, a very special mention to our eleven amazing dads stepping onto the stage as Joseph’s brothers — you have certainly brought something extra special (and a lot of fun!) to our Little Earth concert. 💛

Om te speel en net hulself te wees, is wat van ons kinders verwag word en waarin hulle uitblink – of dit nou met  kwaliteit speelgoed is of net die boks wat soveel opsies het en soveel pret verskaf, hulle speel hul harte uit, elk op sy eie unieke manier.   En al het ons Bokke nie gister die p**l gehaal nie, bly die Little Earth familie nog steeds hul grootste ondersteuners! 🇿🇦

With just a little more than two weeks to go, the magic of Joseph, Dreams and Little Stars is coming together beautifully.

Behind the scenes, our cast is hard at work rehearsing, our dedicated team is creating props and décor, and every practice is filled with laughter, teamwork, and unforgettable moments and the children are having fun!

What makes this journey so special is not only the performance that awaits, but the memories being made along the way ✨

The countdown is on!

Knitting with a Purpose – Mandela Day 2026 🇿🇦 Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude!

A heartfelt thank you to every Little Earth parent, family member, friend and staff member who lovingly knitted and crocheted the most beautiful items for those less fortunate in our community. Your generosity, time and kindness will bring warmth and comfort to so many.

One of the most special parts of this project is that it inspires those who have never knitted or crocheted before to learn a new skill. This year we even had grandpas joining in!

Our children also became part of this beautiful journey by creating heartfelt kindness cards with their parents, spreading even more love, hope and encouragement.

Knitting with a Purpose has been a treasured Little Earth tradition since we first opened our doors in 2018, and every year it reminds us that the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference.

Yesterday we had the privilege of handing over all these precious donations to Latifah Jacobs from the Aurorah Kuils River Action Network. It was once again so inspiring to spend time with this incredible woman, whose life’s work is dedicated to serving and uplifting our community.

To everyone who contributed: thank you, thank you, thank you! Your kindness, generosity and willingness to make a difference are deeply appreciated. Together we are teaching our children one of life’s greatest lessons – that love grows when it is shared.

Our Winter Holiday Program is in full swing, and our Little Earthlings are having the best time! ❄️✨

From cosy winter activities to happy little moments with friends, it has been so special to see our children enjoying their holiday days at Little Earth.

What a special Daddy Day we had at Little Earth! 💙⛵️

The morning was filled with proud little faces, happy daddies and homemade breakfast buns — our very own “catch of the day”!

✨ Investing in Safety, Growing in Excellence ✨

Yesterday, our incredible classroom staff took part in a Pediatric First Aid Training Session, and what an inspiring day it was!

We are beyond proud of every single staff member who arrived with such amazing spirit, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn. The day was beautifully balanced with fun, laughter, teamwork, and most importantly, valuable learning that equips us to care for our little ones even better.

At Little Earth, we firmly believe that our children deserve the very best, and our staff continue to prove that they share this commitment wholeheartedly. Their dedication, passion, and willingness to continuously grow make us incredibly proud.

Over the past few weeks, they have reminded us once again what an extraordinary team we have. During the stormy Cape Town weather we recently had, when most pre-schools closed their doors, our team showed up. Because we are committed to supporting our working parents, we made the decision to stay open — and once again, our staff stood strong, showing reliability, heart, and teamwork.

To our dependable and caring team: thank you for always showing up, for caring deeply, and for giving your all. You are truly a team one can rely on, and we celebrate each and every one of you!

A special thank you to the MEC Medical Education Centre for an informative, valuable, and engaging training session. We appreciate the knowledge shared and the investment made into helping us keep our children safe.
