WRO Robotics Competition🤖🤖

What an incredible experience for our primary school learners who competed at the WRO Robotics Competition at Curro Aurora!

We are incredibly proud of all our learners, including several Foundation Phase learners competing for the very first time.

A special congratulations to one of our teams for achieving 2nd place in the Explorer Lite category! What an outstanding achievement!

We are also excited to host the WRO Robotics Competition at Curro Krugersdorp this week, where more of our teams will have the opportunity to showcase their talents. 🚀💡

Friday Night Lights! 🏑✨

What an incredible day of hockey at the Friday Night Lights Invitational hosted by Curro Aurora!

Our girls displayed outstanding determination throughout the tournament. We are so proud of the way they represented our school and gave their all in every match.

Our boys had a phenomenal tournament and emerged as the overall winners! 🏆🎉

Grade R Obstacle Course Fun! 🧗‍♀️🏃‍♂️🤸‍♀️

Our Grade R learners had an absolute blast tackling an exciting obstacle course filled with climbing, crawling and movement challenges! Through structured play, they developed essential gross motor skills, improved their coordination and balance, and built confidence with every challenge they conquered. ✨

Fast 5 Hockey Tournament 🏑

We had the privilege of being invited to the Fast 5 Hockey Tournament hosted by Laerskool Louw Geldenhuys, giving our learners the opportunity to experience a different format of the game, challenge themselves and enjoy an evening of hockey in a fun and competitive environment.

Our learners had an amazing time, gained valuable match experience, and learned so much throughout the day. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow, their teamwork shine on the field. 🏑👏

"Excuse me, where can I find the apples?" 🛒🍎

Our Grade R little shoppers created their own shopping lists inspired by the items on the theme table! Armed with pencils, focus, and a whole lot of imagination, they carefully "wrote" down everything they needed before heading off on their shopping adventures. 📝🥕🍞

What looked like a fun trip to the shops was actually packed with learning! Our young learners strengthened their pencil grip, practised early writing skills and discovered how print has meaning in their everyday world.

Who knew a shopping list could help grow future writers? ✨
