This is what Hartbeespoort dam looks like this evening. Lovely hey. A few years ago we had a plan to build a pontoon vessel with a hydraulic grab and conveyor system to clean all the rubbish, plastic, hyacinth and common salvinia out of the dam. There was a lot of red tape to get through for the project to go ahead, so we put it on ice. But times have changed, and we're now going ahead with the build and clean up. So many small businesses, tour operators, restaurants, residents and above all wildlife suffer because of the state of the dam. If you would like to get involved and assist.
