Public Notice: Unauthorised emails requesting email address updates

It has come to the PPRA’s attention that some practitioners are receiving emails from an account purporting to be the MyPPRA Admin, requesting that they update their email addresses on the system.

Please note that these emails did not originate from the PPRA, and practitioners are advised not to respond, click any links, or provide any information through these messages.

The PPRA is currently investigating the source of these communications and will provide further updates as necessary.

From 1 October 2025, all applications for consent to sink or drill boreholes in the City of Johannesburg must be submitted to the Environment and Infrastructure Services Department (EISD) and no longer to the Department of Development Planning.

Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to take note of this change when preparing and submitting their applications.

Please note all applications will continue to be submitted to Development Planning’s Land Use Management until 30 September 2025

NOTIFICATION REGARDING 2025 CPD COMPLIANCE STATUS ON THE PORTAL

Please note that CPD compliance for 2025 will be recorded and reflected on the PPRA portal.
All CPD activities completed, whether directly with the PPRA or through Charter Academy, will
be captured on the portal to reflect your CPD points for 2025.

Kindly note that this process does not affect the renewal of your Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC)
for the next three years.

We are finalising updates to the portal to ensure all points are accurately reflected, and further
communication will follow once this process is complete.
