πβ¨ What a magical day at Little Farmyard Pre-Primary! β¨π
Today our school was transformed into the pages of some of our favourite storybooks as our children and teachers arrived dressed as beloved book characters! From classic fairy tales to modern favourites, every costume brought a story to life.
Reading opens the door to imagination, creativity, and adventure, and today our little ones reminded us just how wonderful books can be. We are so proud of the effort everyone put into making this day so special.
A big thank you to our amazing parents for helping create such fantastic costumes, and to our wonderful staff for making the day full of fun, laughter, and storytelling.
πβ€οΈ Every great adventure begins with turning the first page.

Traditionally, once a year, we invite our little ones to leave their handprint on the Little Farmyard Wall of Fame. They absolutely love it.
But to us, it's more than paint on a wall.
It's a reminder.
A reminder that every single print on that wall is a person.
When we look at this wall, we don't just see handprints. We see futures.
A future teacher, nurse, scientist, pastor, entrepreneur, artist, mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, leader, or dreamer. Whatever they choose to become, each little person represents a future filled with possibility.
And we have the incredible privilege of helping lay the foundation that will support that future.
Their journey may not always be easy. There will be challenges, disappointments, and obstacles along the way. Our role is to help build resilience, courage, strength in adversity, and faith in our Lord God. To teach them that they are enough, that they are worthy of love, respect, kindness, and belonging.
We strive to nurture hearts that are generous, compassionate, and accepting of others, regardless of race, religion, background, or social standing.
The responsibility entrusted to us is one we never take for granted. Because the future is in our care. Not to mould children into the same shape, but to help each one become the unique and beautiful person God created them to be.
How blessed are we?
Abundantly. πππππ§‘

Happy Fatherβs Day to all our amazing Little Farmyard dads! π
Today we celebrate the fathers who lead, guide, protect, and love their families so faithfully.
Thank you for being role models, encouragers, providers, and spiritual leaders in your homes. The values you teach, the example you set, and the love you show each day help shape the people your children are becoming.
We see the confidence, kindness, and joy in your children, and we know it is rooted in the love and support they receive at home.
Thank you for trusting us to be part of your children's journey.
Wishing you a day filled with love, laughter, and special moments with your family.
Happy Fatherβs Day π
With appreciation from all of us at Little Farmyard

This is a post of gratefulness, written with full hearts and deep appreciation.
At Little Farmyard Pre-Primary, we are continually reminded that we walk in blessing. We have the privilege of working alongside a team of staff who are nothing short of extraordinary.
We believe what they do is more than a profession. It is a calling β lived out in moments of patience, in laughter shared with children, in steady hands during busy days, and in hearts that never seem to grow tired of giving.
They arrive each day with passion stitched into everything they do, carrying purpose with them like a quiet light. In every challenge they meet, they show grace. In every task, they bring excellence. In every child, they give care that cannot be taught, only lived.
What they create together is more than a school. It is a place shaped by love, intention, and devotion.
We do not take this for granted. We are deeply aware that this is a blessing entrusted to us, and we hold it with gratitude.
We want to honour our incredible staff. May they continue to walk boldly in their calling, strengthened, encouraged, and filled with joy in all they do.

π¦π Day 5 marked the final day of our Little Farmyard Birthday Week celebrationsβ¦ and what a GOOD day it was! π
Today, we were visited by the amazing team from Wildandearthly, who brought along some absolutely fascinating exotic animals for our children to meet and learn about.
Our little ones were completely captivated as they met:
β¨ Micky and Minnie the Sugar Gliders
β¨ Squirrel the Chinchilla
β¨ Timmy the Tenrec
β¨ Stuby the Bearded Dragon
β¨ Goldie the Golden Knee Tarantula
β¨ Snow the Corn Snake
β¨ Kai the Ball Python
β¨ Benny the Boa Constrictor
β¨ And two Madagascan Hissing Cockroaches!
A huge thank you to Mathew and Antonio for such an unforgettable experience. You were absolutely fantastic! The children were wide-eyed with amazement from beginning to end as they learned incredible facts about each animal and had the opportunity to see these beautiful creatures up close.
The staff had just as much fun too, cuddling some of the animals and bravely breaking through a few fear barriers along the way π
We would highly recommend Wildandearthly to anyone looking for an educational and interactive animal experience. Their service was exceptional, and it was so clear to see that their animals are treated like family, with so much love and care π§‘
To end off our birthday week celebrations, we enjoyed a lovely picnic together filled with laughter, friendship, and happy little faces πΏβοΈ
As we close off this very special week, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. Celebrating 24 years of Little Farmyard has reminded us just how blessed we are to spend our days with the most special guest of allβ¦ our Farmyard learners π
For 24 years, we have followed Godβs calling to love, guide, nurture, and teach little hearts, and what an incredible journey it has been. Through every season, every classroom, every tiny hand held, and every child who has walked through our gates, Godβs faithfulness has carried Little Farmyard forward.
And by His grace, we plan to continue this calling for many more years to come π±
Thank you to every parent, child, staff member, and supporter who forms part of our Little Farmyard family. You are part of our story, our purpose, and our joy.

π¨ Day 4 of Little Farmyardβs Birthday Week was filled with colourful little hands and special moments of learning π
Today, our little ones each left their handprint on the Little Farmyard Wall of Fame β¨
Tiny hands, bright paint, and proud smiles came together to create something truly special. Each handprint represents a precious child who has been part of the Little Farmyard story, bringing their own unique sparkle, personality, and joy to our school π
The children also spent time learning about Ascension Day and why this day is important. Some classes created beautiful art inspired by the lesson, while others enjoyed story time and discussions about the meaning behind this special day.
The purpose of all these activities was to help educate our children in an age-appropriate and meaningful way about what Ascension Day represents in the Christian faith. Ascension Day is a very important day for us, reminding us of Jesusβ ascension into Heaven and His promise of hope and everlasting love. Although it is often overlooked, we believe it is important for our children to learn about and understand the meaning behind this special day through stories, discussions, art, and reflection together π±
What a beautiful way to celebrate 24 years of love, learning, our love for our God, and community at Little Farmyard.

πΎ Day 3 of Little Farmyardβs Birthday Week was one filled with compassion, kindness, laughter, and very sticky doughnut faces! π
Today we had the privilege of welcoming FORA (Friends of Rescued Animals) to our school, and our Farmyard community truly showed what big hearts they have π
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our parents, large quantities of dog and cat food, cleaning products, and blankets were donated to the animals in FORAβs care. We are so proud of our Little Farmyard family for coming together to support such a worthy cause.
A very special thank you to Linda and Devon for bringing beautiful Oya to visit our children πΆ
Oya has had an incredibly difficult start to life. She experienced homelessness and unimaginable cruelty after being burned with hot water. Yet despite everything she has endured, she remains one of the gentlest, kindest souls. She captured all our hearts today and taught our little ones a powerful lesson in kindness, resilience, and compassion.
Please consider supporting FORA. They are currently in desperate need of animal food supplies and are running very low. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference for these precious animals πΎ
To end off the day, the children also enjoyed doughnut bobbing, which brought endless laughter and hilarious sticky smiles all around π©π
Another unforgettable day in our 24th birthday celebrations!

π Day 2 of Little Farmyardβs Birthday Week was filled with colour, laughter, and windy-day magic! π
Today was Windy Day Play, and our little ones had an absolute blast!
The teachers created beautiful wind toys for the children, decorated with bright, flowing ribbons, dancing beautifully in the breeze β¨
The playground quickly turned into a swirl of giggles and flying colours as the children ran, twirled, skipped, and played with their ribbon streamers flowing behind them like tiny rainbow comets in the wind ππ
Moments like these remind us that childhood is made of the simplest joys... fresh air, happy hearts, good friends, and a little bit of birthday magic π
What a beautiful second day of celebrating 24 wonderful years of Little Farmyard!

π Little Farmyard is celebrating 24 wonderful years! π
24 years of love, learning, laughter, friendship, and nurturing little hearts and growing minds π±
Today was an incredible start to our Birthday Week!
It was our much-anticipated Career Dress-Up Day, and our children absolutely stole the show. From aspiring chefs to future astronauts and farmers, the excitement and pride on their faces were truly priceless β¨
A very special thank you to:
π Dr T.V Setlhapelo
π Geraldine Joubert (Attorney)
π Zander Schlemmer (Cordiguard Security)
π Etienne du Plessis (IT Specialist)
Thank you for visiting Little Farmyard and sharing your professions, experiences, and knowledge with our little ones. The children listened with such curiosity and wonder, and it was beautiful to see young imaginations dreaming a little bigger today π
