Shotgun Day is always a fan favorite during the ITA Instructor Program, but it’s also one that keeps us on our toes. From tactical reloads in timed drills, candidates are pushed to perform under pressure while demonstrating skill, control, and composure. 🔥

This high-intensity training day is about far more than speed, it’s about building confidence, sharpening technique, and reinforcing the importance of safe, effective firearm handling in dynamic shooting environments.

Our recent Fi****ms Custodian Course brought together candidates with different levels of experience, creating an environment where practical knowledge, industry insight and hands-on learning could be shared throughout.

From stripping and cleaning to understanding internal function and mechanical operation, candidates gained valuable skills essential to the safe, responsible and professional handling of fi****ms.

On Friday, our Instructor Program candidates ran through a Business Purposes Qualification Shoot in preparation for their upcoming Instructor Qualification shoots. This phase is where precision, confidence, and consistency are refined under professional supervision.

The ITA Instructor Program is the best of its kind, led by some of the industry’s best, who uphold the highest standards of training and excellence.⭐️

We know our candidate instructors are going to learn a tremendous amount from them this week as they continue sharpening their skills and preparing for the qualification shoots. 💪

Week One of our February ITA Instructor Program is officially underway, and our candidates were put to work!

They presented exceptionally well throughout their Facilitation Skills unit standard, demonstrating confidence and growth with every presentation. The week focused on understanding the importance of compiling and assessing a compliant, complete Portfolio of Evidence, a critical skill for any professional instructor.

It was a week filled with new theory, valuable knowledge, and strong foundations being built. And while the classroom work was intense and rewarding, we know they’re more than ready (and itching) to take their skills to the range for their practicals this week! ⭐️
