When we first started exploring the world of science with the kids, I won’t lie, it was overwhelming. The tools, the rules…the mess. It took me a while to stop focusing on the end result of the experiments that I was doing with the children and to start focusing on the wonder. Once I stepped back, stop controlling, and let the wonder work it’s magic that’s when the fun and learning began.
Children learn about life through hands-on exploration and trial and error. Through asking questions, seeking answers, and feeding their curiosity through play. This is what makes science such a vital subject for children to learn.
