MASA National Championships 2026 - Pretoria

Mushin Kai Karate Northern Cape represented WUKF-MASA Northern Cape at the MASA National Championships this past weekend.

Mushin Kai Kimberley had 23 athletes that represented under the coaching guidance of Sensei Geraldine Swanepoel.

The tournament was one for the books. A new experience, high quality of karate and a proud moment for Mushin Kai Karate South Africa to be part of Martial Arts in South Africa.

WUKF-MASA Northern Cape results:

Total: 33 National medals

This is a huge achievement and another step in the right direction for Mushin Kai Karate.

WUKF Helderberg League 2026

Thank you to Sensei Grahame and the Helderberg Karate Local LOC in support of Sensei JP and Sensei Jamie for organizing an excellent WC WUKF League Tournament.

Again we experienced on time, fair, high standard karate and officiating. This is what WUKF strive for and this is what WUKF live up to!

Thank you to WUKF South Africa and the LOC for hosting a highly successful, and one of the highest quality of events we have ever experienced in karate.

The Championships was one of the best quality of karatekas we have witnessed in South Africa, and can definitly say that WUKF SA Standard is World Standard!

Thank you to every supporter, friend, family member and parent who have stood by our side during preperation for the Championships.

First Official Inter Schools Martial Arts Championships

Once again, WUKF-MASA, showed why they are the leading Martial Arts Federation in South Africa, with a highly professional and quality tournament being held in Brackenfell.

Thank you to the LOC for all the hard work and preperation.

47 schools (Primary + High) took part in the Championships.

Mushin Kai members from various schools (Aristea Primary, Gene Louw Primary, Shekinah Academy, Protea Heights Academy and Bellville High) took part and made their organization, but moat important, their school really proud.
