What a day! Our Imhoff Griffins Netball and Soccer Teams played their hearts out at the Generation Schools Intercampus Winter Sports Festival yesterday! What great competition between players from all our campuses, with tough matches showing passion, grit, great teamwork, and brilliant sportsmanship. A rewarding day for Imhoff Griffins, bringing home a double whammy of the Primary Netball Trophy and the High School Soccer Trophy! Our campus celebrated Maria Montessori's birthday this week at our Spring Day Seniors' Tea. Our community guests were treated to a bright, happy morning of tea and treats, served with confidence and grace by our primary Junior Leaders. The hall was filled with tables beautifully decorated by our 9-12 students, handmade gifts made by our primary classes, and bright floral arrangements carefully put together by our 3-6 children. The audience was entertained with dance, music, drama, song and even aerial tricks! A beautiful day for all! 🌺🌹🌻

Our 6–9 Phase welcomed the arrival of spring with a little creativity and a whole lot of green-fingered fun.

Our young learners created their own beautiful miniature box gardens, bringing colourful flowers, plants and plenty of imagination to life.

A wonderful way to celebrate the new season while nurturing creativity, responsibility and a love for nature.

Here’s to new beginnings, fresh growth and a spring filled with possibilities.

πŸπŸ“πŸ” 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 π‹πšπ­πžπ«, Her legacy Lives On. 🌱

Maria Montessori became one of Italy’s first female physicians and later transformed the way generations of educators understood children and learning.

But perhaps one of the most lasting parts of her legacy is not a particular material or classroom technique.

It is the way she encouraged adults to observe the child.

To look more carefully.
To ask what the child is ready for.
To prepare an environment that supports independence.

And to give children the opportunity to become capable through their own work.

Her philosophy and ideas are still alive in Montessori classrooms around the world.

We celebrated Maria Montessori on her birthday, 31 August. One can only appreciate her 21st century thinking and teaching pedagogy, from curiosity, to experience, to knowledge β™₯️
