Our annual musical, Becoming King Arthur, is almost here! Experience an original production featuring our Grade 1–8 learners live in our beautiful amphitheater. Don't miss out!

Written and directed by Forest Edge Drama and Music Teacher, Mrs Terrah Mello, Becoming King Arthur is an entertaining and deeply inspiring production for the whole family. Beyond the magic and adventure, it brings home a meaningful lesson about friendship, sacrifice and the power of true unity.

Our Grade 7 and 8 students recently took on Outward Bound in Sedgefield for an unforgettable outdoor adventure, focused on connection, teamwork and growth.

The Grade 7s tackled an action-packed day side-by-side with the Grade 8s, conquering physical challenges, building confidence, and forging strong ties as they prepare for their leap into high school.

Our Grade 8s kept the momentum going with a two-day, one-night camp! After a dynamic first day alongside the Grade 7s, they stayed overnight to take on river rafting and the high-flying trapeze on Day 2. These shared moments helped foster self-reliance, trust, and deep bonds as they prepare to step into Grade 9 together.

We are so proud of the courage and spirit shown by every learner!

Thank you to our teachers and the awesome .sa team for making it a wonderful time away.

Scout leaders Riaan, Dante and Lynette led engaging group activities before taking the learners on a beautiful nature tour through Pledge Nature Reserve.

To mark International Coastal Cleanup Day, the Forest Edge community gathered at our Waterfront Campus on Saturday morning for our very first Coastal Cleanup, to help keep the water's edge of our beautiful Knysna Lagoon free of litter.

Around 45+ people - including parents, learners, teachers, family, and friends - joined in, along with the fantastic Sea Cadets. Together, we walked from the Waterfront campus toward the Parkrun cobble paving, spreading out in both directions to clear the shoreline and surrounding.

We also invited SANParks to join us and were very grateful to have a five-strong team present. It was inspiring to learn more about their ongoing efforts to protect our coastline, and our families really appreciated the fascinating insights and practical conservation tips they shared throughout the cleanup.

After an hour of hard work clearing litter we gathered for a group photo before before heading back to our school campus for well-deserved refreshments prepared by our interim Parent Action Group Committee.

A heartfelt thank you to our interim Parent Action Group Committe for their support in organising this event, and to all the families and friends who joined us to show their care for our lagoon. 💚

Great news! The rain has cleared, and we’re all set for our Coastal Cleanup tomorrow morning! Organised by the Forest Edge Parent Action Group, we can’t wait to work together to keep our environment clean.

If you’d like to join us in clearing rubbish along the lagoon (from the Parkrun route to the yacht club and back), meet us at our Waterfront Campus (65 Waterfront Drive) at 09:00. We’re also excited to have SANPARKS joining us to help raise awareness about protecting our beautiful coastline.

We’ll walk together and wrap up around 10:30 for some well-deserved refreshments. Please remember to bring a sun hat, sunscreen, water, snacks, and trash grabbers if you have them.

We look forward to caring for our community together!
