So day 1 so far ... went out for the first race at 11:30 in 20+ knots of wind ... eventually at 12:00 we where all sent back to shore ... wind had built to 25+ knots ... no capsizes and all 3 boats got back safely ...

All our boats have passed the Formula 1 type measurement process including Cundell Jnr's new homemade Mast ... now having to re - assemble to be ready for tomorrow's practice race & opening ceremony !!

So 3 teams, 6 sailors, have arrived at the Mirror Worlds venue ... Our home for the next week ... 3 tents etc ... now for registration & boat measurement ...

Some of our children out on a keel boat as part of the Knysna Yacht Club opening cruise. New experience for some of them, a bit bigger than what they are used to.

Not much wind but still 5 boats out sailing with a bit of paddling going on now and again .. not bad for the middle of May.
