Western Cape Shines at the Water and Sanitation Education Programme (WSEP) National Adjudication 2026!
The Water and Sanitation Education Programme (WSEP) National Adjudication 2026 brought together learners and educators from all nine provinces in Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, where excellence, innovation, and talent were celebrated.
We are proud to announce that Iviwe Madywabe took first place nationally, competing against participants from all nine provinces while proudly representing the Western Cape. His outstanding achievement earned him a laptop prize.
In the Public Speaking category, Luyolo Manxiwa emerged victorious and was awarded a bursary to assist with his tertiary studies. What a remarkable accomplishment!
This is fantastic news for the Western Cape, the Eden and Central Karoo District, and the Percy Mdala community. These achievements are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of our learners.
A special word of appreciation goes to Mr Madondo, the Percy Mdala Environmental Club Coordinator, for his unwavering support, guidance, and commitment to nurturing young leaders and changemakers.
Congratulations to Iviwe and Luyolo! Your success has made the entire Western Cape proud. Keep reaching for greater heights and inspiring others through your achievements.
