Kimberley's social media star Gadaffi visited our school today to deliver a motivational message to our grade 6 and 7 learners.

Our heartfelt condolences go to the Horne family on the passing of Melvyn. His wife, Myrillia, and daughter, Kalayca, are valued members of our staff at the school, and we share in their grief and sorrow during this difficult time.

Mr Horne was a devoted family man who faithfully supported his loved ones at school functions. He was a familiar and welcome face in our car park, often dropping off and collecting his family. He will be deeply missed by everyone at Homevale Primary.

Suzanne has also always been a part of our school community through her visits as an ambassador for Metro World Child. Melvyn always put his family first, and his loss will undoubtedly be felt by all who knew and loved him.

We pray that God will comfort and strengthen the Horne family during this very difficult time.
