Round 2 of the Kimberley Hockey saw our KJS teams take on Staats Primary on Wednesday, 12 August and Thursday, 13 August 2026.

The matches were highly competitive, with some excellent hockey played across the different age groups. A big **well done to Staats Primary** for the fantastic sportsmanship displayed throughout both days. 👏🏑

⚽️ 053 LEAGUE | ROUND 1⚽️

Our U9A, U11A and U13A soccer teams were in action on Saturday, 8 August, competing in the first round of the 053 League, hosted by Sol Plaatje University.

The boys put in some fantastic performances, showing great skill, determination and teamwork throughout the day. 👏🔥

👩‍🚒👨‍⚕️👮‍♀️👩‍🏫🚒 **Dream Big!**

Our Grade R learners swapped their school uniforms for the outfits of the careers they dream of pursuing one day as they celebrated their annual Career Day today.

From doctors and teachers to firefighters, police officers, and many more, our young learners looked absolutely fantastic as they proudly showcased their future ambitions.

It was a fun-filled day that encouraged our learners to dream big, believe in themselves, and imagine the endless possibilities that lie ahead. We are so proud of each and every one of them!

🎶 Northern Cape Arts Festival Success! 🎶

Our Grade 3 Junior Choir and Senior Choir participated in the Northern Cape Arts Festival on Wednesday, 5 August, at Newton Primary School.

Both choirs delivered exceptional performances. The Grade 3 Junior Choir achieved a Gold+ award, while our Senior Choir earned Gold.

Congratulations to all our talented learners on these outstanding achievements. A heartfelt thank you to Mrs Rossouw and the choir staff for their dedication, guidance, and for accompanying our learners throughout the festival. We are incredibly proud of you all!

Our teams kicked off the Primary Schools Hockey League yesterday with a flawless day of results against Vooruitsig and Eureka Primary. A fantastic effort from all our players, who displayed great skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the day.

EUNICE HOCKEY FESTIVAL🏑

Our hockey teams travelled to Bloemfontein in the early hours of this morning to participate in the 2026 Eunice Festival.

A total of 31 matches were played throughout the day, with our players enjoying an incredible day of hockey, learning, and fun. We are proud of the effort, sportsmanship, and determination shown by every player who represented our school.

A huge thank you to all the staff members who accompanied our teams and gave up their time to make this tour possible. Your commitment and support are truly appreciated. A special thanks to Eunice Primary on another well organized event.
