A proud and celebratory moment for St Boniface High School as we attend the Second Annual Frances Baard District Well Done Function, currently underway at Barkly West Primary School. π
The function recognises excellence in district leadership, outstanding National Senior Certificate performance, inclusivity, and the maintenance and upkeep of schools.

A huge congratulations to the Humanities Department of St Boniface High School for representing our school with pride at todayβs Annual GeoFestival, hosted at Sol Plaatje University! π
Our talented team of 5 Grade 10 and 5 Grade 11 learners competed against 14 schools from across the district and achieved an outstanding 3rd place position! π₯
Their hard work, teamwork, knowledge and dedication have truly paid off, earning the school a well-deserved trophy. ππ

Our learners were truly inspired by the visit of Gadaffi, who took on the incredible challenge of cycling from Kimberley to Cape Town to raise awareness and inspire positive change. π΄πΎββοΈπͺπΎ
His journey carries a powerful message: βOne journey. One purpose. One message.β His courage, determination and commitment to making a difference remind our learners that with perseverance and purpose, great things are possible. ππΎ
During his visit, he motivated our learners to:
π± Choose a drug-free society and say YES to life, dreams and a brighter future.
π€ Raise awareness about unemployment and the need to build opportunities for our youth.
βπΎ Believe in themselves, their potential and their ability to contribute to positive change in their communities.

We are incredibly proud of our Grade 8 and Grade 9 learners who represented our school at the GKSS-SPU 2nd Annual SHEBUILDS Hackathon, held under the inspiring theme βShe Powers Her Community.β π‘π©πΎβπ»
The Hackathon challenged young minds to develop real solutions for real-world challenges, focusing on two important themes: Green Energy (SDG 7 β Affordable & Clean Energy) and Agri-Tech (SDG 2 β Zero Hunger & Food Security). πβ‘π±

π CELEBRATING DEBATING EXCELLENCE AT ST BONIFACE HIGH SCHOOL! π
We are immensely proud to share a wonderful letter of appreciation and congratulations from the Northern Cape Schools Debating Association (NCSDA) following the Provincial Championships! π
Our Senior Team emerged as Senior Open Champions, going through the entire tournament undefeated and winning every debate they contested. Even more remarkable, all three team members finished among the Top 3 Speakers of the entire tournament! ππ½π₯

π§ͺπ¬ SBH Γ SPU | BRINGING SCIENCE TO LIFE! π¬π§ͺ
St Boniface High School (SBH), in conjunction with Sol Plaatje University (SPU), brought Science to Life through an exciting and hands-on Titration Practical! π§ͺβοΈ
Our learners had the wonderful opportunity to explore the science behind titrating vinegar with sodium hydroxide, using phenolphthalein as an indicatorβturning classroom theory into a real-life laboratory experience.
