Stage 3 have been learning all about volcanoes in Geography, and what better way to bring our learning to life than by making our very own volcanoes! 🤩
The learners used paper mâché to create their volcanoes before the exciting part — making them erupt! 🌋💥

This week's PT session was all about perseverance! 💪🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Our learners pushed themselves through a challenging exercise obstacle course, encouraging one another every step of the way. They then finished the session by working together as one big team, completing a squat Mexican wave while moving in a circle.

It was a fantastic reminder that perseverance, teamwork, and determination help us achieve more together! 🌟

Some of our talented students who recently participated in a music eisteddfod visited our classes to perform a selection of their pieces. Their beautiful performances were a joy to listen to, and we are so proud of the dedication, hard work, and courage they have shown in developing their musical talents.

🍴👩‍🍳 Stage 5 girls really enjoyed our Home Economics practical this week! 😃

They had so much fun making delicious bacon and cheese pinwheels 🥓🧀 and sweet dessert pretzels. 🥨 It's always wonderful to see their confidence and creativity grow in the kitchen!

🧪🫧 Stage 5 had an awesome time getting hands-on as they made their very own slime! 😄

There were plenty of smiles, stretchy slime, and lots of excitement as the learners explored this fun sensory activity while learning through play. 💚✨

🏐 What a fantastic PT session today! Our learners had an amazing time putting their netball skills to the test. From quick passes to teamwork and plenty of smiles, it was wonderful to see everyone giving their best and having so much fun. 💙

🧪🔬 Science in action! Today the Stage 7s discovered how red cabbage can be used as a natural pH indicator.

They tested different substances and observed the amazing colour changes:
💜 Purple = Neutral
❤️ Red = Acid
💙 Blue = Alkali

What a fun, colourful way to learn about chemistry through hands-on investigation! 🌈🧑‍🔬

🚧✨ One part of our brand-new playground was ready for action today, and the excitement was contagious! 😄

The children had an absolute blast exploring the new equipment, climbing, balancing, and letting their imaginations run wild. Seeing their smiles and hearing their laughter reminded us just how important play is for learning, growth, and friendship. 💙🛝

We can't wait to see even more playground adventures as the rest of the space comes together!
