📚🌟 Rally to Read 2026 – A DAY TO REMEMBER 🌟📚

Today, Ncera Intermediate School was proud to host a successful and inspiring Rally to Read Programme.

The day was filled with excitement, learning, and celebration as our learners showcased their talents through welcoming performances, gumboots dancing, choir presentations, and reading activities. 📖🎶💃🏾

We were honoured to welcome our distinguished guests, dedicated educators, supportive parents, School Governing Body members, and community stakeholders who joined us in promoting a culture of reading and lifelong learning.

A special moment of the day was the presentation of a certificate to our Principal in recognition of our school's participation and commitment to literacy development. 🏆👏🏽

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this event, especially our learners, teachers, parents, guests, and organisers. Your support and dedication continue to make a positive difference in the lives of our children.

🌱 Today we had a special visit from Kidlinks Small Farm Incubator, NPC. School Garden Program at Ncera Intermediate School.

The purpose of the visit was to support us in establishing a productive school garden that will provide fresh vegetables to supplement our learners’ daily lunches.

The programme also aims to:
🌿 Promote organic farming practices
🌿 Encourage sustainable food production at school
🌿 Introduce STEM-integrated activities that help learners understand how classroom subjects can be applied practically through gardening

Our Grade 7 learners had a meaningful learning experience alongside members of the SGB and parents who joined us for the visit.

We are grateful to Kidlinks Small Farm Incubator (KSFI) for partnering with us on this exciting journey toward healthier meals, practical learning, and sustainable gardening for our learners. 💚🥬🍅
