A Sweetheart of a Teacher: Celebrating Our Pre-Grade R Teacher, Vuyolwethu

At Ethembeni Pre-School, we're delighted to have Vuyolwethu, our Pre-Grade R teacher, spreading joy and warmth throughout our little community. This sweet and caring educator has captured the hearts of her students, and it's easy to see why.

Vuyolwethu's gentle approach, playful spirit, and loving nature make her a beloved figure in the lives of our youngest learners. Her patience, kindness, and understanding create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and eager to learn.

The tragic events in Cwecwe shook our nation, highlighting the urgent need for safer schools and communities. Every child deserves a secure and nurturing environment to grow, learn, and thrive.

However, as time passes, we're becoming disturbingly quiet as a nation. The outcry and demands for justice have faded, and the issue seems to be slowly forgotten. Meanwhile, no meaningful resolution has been reached, and our children remain vulnerable.

We must break this silence and reignite the conversation. We owe it to the victims, their families, and our children to demand:

- Accountability for those responsible
- Concrete actions to improve school safety and security
- Support for affected communities

Let's raise our voices again and push for tangible change. Our children's safety and well-being depend on it.
