Here is a short video of releasing one of the many buckets of Mozambicus Tilapia into the AR-1 (Alberts edition) commercial aquaponic systems. Have a look at the algea in the water after treating the system into maturing bio-filtration. I'll post some pictures of what the water looks like 3 days later to set your mind at ease about algae. 90% of the time, it is not a problem at all! Please leave your comments on the subject, we would love to hear from you!
The 5000+ fingerlings made the transition without any loss! Even though 10% mortality is acceptable when transporting fish, we had none. A thank you goes out to Andries from Toptilapia for bringing these little miracles into the system.
