Die Oos-Randse Beskermde Werksplek het ‘n vakature vir ‘n half-dag persoonlike assistent (PA) pos. Die suksesvolle kandidaat werk slegs 5 dae per week vanaf 7:30 tot 13:00. Die werk behels algemene kantoor administrasie, voltooiing van vorms, hantering van kontant, snoepie verkope en telefoon diens. Die suksesvolle kandidaat moet op 5 Januarie 2026 kan begin werk. Salaris is onderhandelbaar.

The East Rand Protective Workshop has a vacancy for a half-day personal-assistant (PA) post. The successful candidate will work 5 days per week from 7:30 till 13:00. The work entails general office admin, completion of forms, handling of cash, tuckshop sales and answering telephone. The successful must start on the 5 January 2026. Salary is negotiable.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Assistant to the Director.
Qualifications: Gr. 12, Secretarial Skills, Computer Literacy and Proficiency
Language: Afrikaans, English (speaking, writing and reading)
Days: Monday to Friday (5 days a week Hours: 7:30 am – 1:00 pm)
Telephone: Answering Calls
Record keeps of all incoming calls
Forward the call to director if it's for him.
Take messages if necessary
Make appointments if necessary and keep director informed
Diary: Keep the director's diary up to date regarding any appointments, calls, work to be completed, and of all meetings
Control access to the director
Staff meetings: Keep and keep minutes of the meetings
Filing: File all correspondence (incoming and outgoing)
Open new files – if necessary
Update all staff files
Keep leave forms up to date.
Keep all files of clients up to date
Finance: Receive all incoming payments and write receipts
Small Closet: Have strict controls in consultation with director and finance.
Tuck shop: Open daily between 10:30 and 11:00
Registers: Attendance Registers: Staff and Clients
Keep a record of all applications, waiting lists, and people leaving.
Residents: Update all data
Donations
Passengers on the various bus routes
Asset registers
Forms/Lists: Lists of all beneficiaries with addresses, contact details of parents/guardians as well as email addresses.
Complete monthly claim forms for the Department
Waiting list for residents
Create any shapes needed
Update work done
Applications from New Customers
Nametags: Keep it up to date
Bus licenses/PDPs: Keep bus drivers and director informed of expiration dates.
Complete any task required by the director in connection with administration
