A customer requested the cleaning liquid I use. Here is the recipe for cleaning cartridge brass. I have used this recipe with extreme success in cleaning carbon, lubricants and other dirt, inside, outside, primer pockets and flash holes.

1. 250ml Sulight Liquid.
2. 250ml White Vinegar.
3. 250ml Clean Green
4. 250ml Dishwasher Rinse Aid.
5. 8 small packets of Bicarbonate of Soda
6. 8 small packets of Citric Acid.
7. 8 small packets of Tartaric Acid.

Mix all together in large 20 liter bucket. (The initial chemical reaction causes a lot of foam). After the foaming has subsided, split the liquid between 2 x 2 liter plastic coldrink bottles. Fill up with water.
Place cartridge cases in a Wet tumbler with Stainless Steel pins, add 25ml of concentrate in drum and fill with water. Tumble for 20-30 minutes. Rinse the brass with clean water, immediately after removal from tumbler.
Dry with compressed air or dry with cotton towel or old style baby nappy.
After dry, use a light coating of lanolin oil/alcohol mix(90-95%) (1:10 ratio).
Lanolin is also a very good case lubricant.
