That being said the reality remains that after the 2pm meal they have to go home to no food and wait until the next day to be fed. We established that there is a gap for when the child left school and went home, as there would be no food at home most of the time at home. The lack of food at home or even very little food provision that happens at this time creates challenges for these kids to concentrate on an empty stomach and do homework. With the pandemic and constant closure of schools, these children find themselves at home hungry and end up being at the mercy of adults who can possibly abuse them for food. Not only that but the element of criminality can also creep in at this stage of their lives.
