The learners of Sir Pierre van Ryneveld High School proudly participated in the Public Speaking Competition . A total of 32 learners took part, and their dedication, confidence and commitment truly shone throughout the competition as they represented the school with excellence and pride.

The learners of Sir Pierre van Ryneveld High School excelled once again, as 187 learners participated in the Oosrand and Crescendo Eisteddfods on Saturday, 16 May 2026.

They proudly showcased their talents, dedication, and passion, representing the school with excellence, confidence, and pride. Their performances reflected not only creativity and hard work but also the spirit and unity of the school.

The learners participated in themed programmes, monologues, poetry, reading, public speaking, instrumental items, choir, modelling, vocal performances and art, displaying remarkable versatility and talent across various categories.

A special shout-out to Mr. C. M. Malamule for his unwavering commitment, guidance, and inspiration. Thank you for continuously entering these learners for these competitions and for motivating and uplifting them to strive for greatness and to believe in their abilities.
