A school should not simply collect fees, issue a receipt, and say "Welcome."

Parents need to understand the school before the journey begins.

*1. WHO WE ARE*
- Our history, vision, mission and core values
- What we stand for and what makes us different

*2. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM STUDENTS*
- Academic expectations, behaviour, punctuality
- Dress code, respect, and participation in activities

*3. WHAT PARENTS SHOULD EXPECT FROM US*
- Quality teaching and learning
- Clear communication, student welfare
- Fair assessment, reporting and timely feedback

*4. HOW WE COMMUNICATE*
- Official channels (not rumours)
- Who to contact for what: Class Teacher vs Admin vs Principal
- Response time expectations

*5. OUR ACADEMIC SYSTEM*
- Curriculum, homework policy
- Tests, exams, continuous assessment and report cards
- How parents can support learning at home

*6. OUR DISCIPLINE SYSTEM*
- School rules and code of conduct
- How misconduct is handled
- Our discipline philosophy (correction, not punishment)

- How do I report an absence?
- How do I raise a complaint?
- How do I get my child's report?
- What does the school expect from me?

✅By trying too hard to be friends instead of leaders.

✅By tolerating disrespect without consequences.

✅By speaking harshly or insulting colleagues publicly.

✅By arriving late or being unprepared for lessons.

✅By showing favoritism among students.

✅By lacking confidence in their own decisions.

✅By saying one thing but doing another.

✅By accepting poor behavior repeatedly until it becomes the classroom culture.
