The Accountancy Community Through Tirisano (ACTT) is a registered Non-Profit Organisation (NPO 132-413) that was established in 2011. Before it was founded its founders were also just the ordinary members of the community in Katlehong, blaming learners, schools and Department of Education on the outcomes in as far as learners perform is concern , forgetting that we also as the members of the community have a role to play in the whole process. After we realised that it is not the sole responsibility of Department of Education and schools to educate the nation and up bringing responsible citizens of this country. The question that we asked ourselves was, “what are we doing as the community members with skills, expertise and knowledge, in the whole process of educating our communities?
