An opportunity exists for young minds who would like to job FNB Hogan Technology division.

FNB Hogan Technology Academy is a Bank SETA accredited training provider set up to build necessary skills capacity within the organization. One of the major drives of the Academy is to source and train new IT talent and provide opportunities for those seeking a challenging and rewarding career in the IT industry.

What they offer:
•Two career paths (Stipends of between R1500 and R5000) paid:
o ITBLP (Information Technology Banking Learnership Programme)
o Cobol programming
•Free Training
•Contract employment for the duration of the training
•Full time employment opportunities on successful completion of training

Minimum Requirements:
o South African Citizen
o Recent IT / IS Graduates
o Recent Matriculants with at least a Level 5 for Maths & English. (HG – C)
o Recent Graduates of other non-IT degrees who wish to pursue an IT career

The next course commences in January 2013. All training will take place at FNB’s BankCity premises in Johannesburg. In order to qualify for entry to this course, 2 aptitude tests would need to be written and passed.
