As we celebrate youth month and the 50th anniversary of the June 16 youth day, one of our Grade 10 learners represented Gauteng province in essay writing. She was part of the top 9 learners nationally and on the 13th - 16th June 2026, she went on to represent the province at Maropeng Centre. The topic was “ What I think South Africa should be like in the next three years”.
Ntsepeng Mokoena is our grade 10 learner, who went to represent not only Alafang secondary but the entire Gauteng province. We would also like to extend our appreciation to her English teacher Ms Hlatshwayo in her contributions in achieving this milestone.

We would like to thank Precious for her effort to empower our girls through beauty and self care initiatives.
