The Debt Planner is an organisation run by Jon Harding, who is the author and facilitator of the very popular and successful workshop, Effective School Fee Collection.
The Debt Planner recognises that the collection of fees is currently the biggest single challenge that schools currently face. The Debt Planner helps to address this with their signature coaching programme, which has been designed for staff handling the debtors collection function within the school. The collection of fees is vital to the sustainability of the independent schooling system, and sadly a number of schools are faced with potential closure as a result of non-performance in this key function.
The Debt Planner programme empowers heads and governing bodies with the strategic financial insight needed to lead their schools sustainably. Through one-on-one coaching, they use each school’s actual figures to highlight financial risks, improve oversight, and build confidence in areas such as budgeting, cash flow, fee collection, and long-term sustainability. The process culminates in a customised “Head’s Dashboard” – a practical, school-specific tool for ongoing financial leadership. This is not finance training; it’s executive support tailored to school leaders, enabling them to make informed, timely decisions that strengthen governance and secure their school’s future.
“From overwhelm to oversight – finance coaching for Heads.”

What a wonderful day of encouragement, growth, and fellowship we shared at the ACSI Nelson Mandela Bay Teachers Conference! We are continually reminded how God strengthens Christian educators when we gather with one purpose — to worship, learn, and be renewed in our calling.
On 1 August, teachers and school leaders from across the region came together at Global Leadership Academy for a day filled with meaningful connection, practical learning, and Christ-centred encouragement. Our sincere thanks to Global Leadership Academy for hosting us so generously and creating a space where educators could connect and grow together.
Through a diverse programme of workshops, delegates explored topics including leadership, teacher wellbeing, safeguarding, AI in education, assessment, supporting learners in crisis, emotional wellbeing, classroom management, and strengthening Christian school culture. These sessions equipped educators with practical tools while reminding us that our greatest influence comes through faithfully living out our calling each day.
A heartfelt thank you to every speaker, school, and educator who invested in this day. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve the Christian education community in Nelson Mandela Bay and leave encouraged by what God is doing through teachers who faithfully shape lives for His Kingdom.

What a joy it was to gather for our very first ACSI Teachers Conference in the Free State! We are incredibly grateful to God for opening the door to serve Christian Teachers and Leaders in this province and are excited to see how He will continue to grow this community in the years to come.
On 25 July, teachers and leaders came together at Kingdom Academy for a day of worship, fellowship, encouragement, and practical equipping. Thank you to Kingdom Academy for hosting us so generously and helping make this inaugural conference such a memorable occasion.
Throughout the day, delegates engaged with workshops exploring assessment, Christian leadership, AI in education, teacher wellbeing, supporting learners in crisis, memory and learning strategies, and navigating today's challenges through a biblical worldview. Together, we were reminded that Christian education is about faithfully shaping hearts and minds for God's Kingdom.
Thank you to every speaker, school, and educator who invested in this first conference. We leave encouraged by what God has begun in the Free State and look forward to seeing this conference flourish year after year.
