This Heritage Day, we celebrate the many cultures, languages, traditions and stories that make South Africa so beautifully diverse. 🇿🇦

But as Christian educators, we are also reminded of the heritage we have been entrusted to pass on.

Jesus showed us that faith is not only something we teach, but something we live. When He washed His disciples’ feet, He gave us an example of humility, love and servant-hearted leadership.

As we shape the next generation, may we pass on more than knowledge. May we pass on faith, truth, love and hope, pointing our learners towards Christ through both our words and our lives.

Our heritages may be many, our stories may be different, but we share one Father.

We are His children.

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 1 John 3:1

This Heritage Day, may we celebrate where we come from while remembering whose we are and considering what we will pass on to those who come after us.

ACSI North West Brits Principals Meeting!

What a privilege to spend time with Christian school leaders in Brits! The 9 September Principals Meeting provided a valuable space for prayer, spiritual input, ACSI updates, connection, and strategic discussion.

A heartfelt thank you to Academy for Christian Education, Brits for hosting us and creating a space where leaders could openly connect, share ideas, and encourage one another.

We are grateful for every school leader who made the time to gather. These moments remind us that while leadership can be challenging, we do not have to walk it alone. Together, we continue to strengthen one another and Christian education for the communities we serve.

ACSI North West Brits Teachers Conference!

What a joy to gather with Christian teachers in Brits for a day of worship, connection, encouragement, and practical equipping. We are grateful for the opportunity to strengthen teachers in their calling and remind one another that we are part of a much bigger Christian education community.

A heartfelt thank you to Rabboni Christian School for hosting us so warmly.

Educators explored topics ranging from supporting learners in crisis and the impact of AI, to behaviour management, learner support, assessment, teacher burnout, school culture, and raising Christ-centred children. The day concluded with a powerful reminder of the sacred calling of education through the plenary, Education for the Transformation of Lives.

Thank you to every speaker, school, and educator who invested in the day. What a privilege to learn, connect, and grow together!

ACSI KZN North Teachers Conference!

What a joy to gather with Christian educators in KZN North for a day filled with worship, connection, encouragement, and growth! We are so grateful for the time spent together and for the opportunity to be strengthened in our shared calling.

A heartfelt thank you to Northland School for hosting us with such warmth and generosity.

Teachers were equipped through a wonderful variety of workshops — exploring everything from supporting learners in crisis, AI and EdTech, teacher burnout and reigniting passion for teaching, behaviour management, assessment, creative writing, and the role of fathers in ECD, to leadership and bringing faith into sport.
