Kingsmead College Courage Always Situated in beautiful gardens in Melrose, Kingsmead is easily accessible from all areas of Greater Johannesburg.

The founder of Kingsmead College, Miss DV Thompson, planned a happy school, and this tradition continues - largely because of the spirit of comradeship between staff and girls and amongst our girls themselves. Girls from Grade 000 (Bluebells) to Matric flourish in the nurturing, yet stimulating environment.

Small actions. Big impact.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Kingsmead community, and in partnership with Clothes for Good, we collected an outstanding 302 bags of clothing and textiles, weighing 2,079.93 kg!

These items will be given a new lease on life through reuse, upcycling into educational and disability-specific products, or recycling into textile fibre.

Together, we’re creating meaningful social and environmental impact, one bag at a time. 🌱💚

Well done to our A and B Tennis teams, who competed in the Sun City Tennis Tournament this past week and took on some seriously tough opposition. Our A Team fought their way to an impressive 4th place, while our B Team finished a strong 10th.

A Proudly South African Moment 🇿🇦

On the final day of Term 2, Kyla Hall, Erin Boyd and Kristin Billett were proudly presented with their South African green blazers during assembly.

These remarkable students represented South Africa at the World Aquatics U16 Water Polo Championships in Croatia during July—an extraordinary achievement that reflects their talent, commitment and courage.
