Sometimes a building teaches before a teacher ever speaks.

At the Redefine Education Conference, I walked through the new Early Learning Centre at Redhill School in South Africa — a space that feels alive.

Inspired by Reggio Emilia, it’s built on the belief that the environment is the third teacher.

Every texture, every beam of light, every sound invites curiosity.

It reminded me that the spaces we create — physical or digital — tell our students what we value most.
