We would like to inform you that applications for inner grades as well as Grade R are still open.

Parents are kindly informed that *Grade 1 applications must be done strictly at the District Office.*

Parents are kindly invited to visit the school to:

Collect Term 4 report cards
Collect transfer letters
Receive information regarding school uniform and stationery
The school will be open for these purposes from 7 January 2026 during school hours.

We encourage all parents who still need assistance or information to visit the school as indicated.

Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) Online Applications for 2026 Are Around the Corner!
Key Details:

For learners entering Grade 1 and Grade 8 in the 2026 academic year.
Online applications through the GDE portal. This is the only way to apply for these grades in public schools.

How to Prepare:

* Gather Documents: Start preparing digital copies (scans or clear photos) of necessary documents like your child's birth certificate, your ID, proof of address, and your child's latest school report (for Grade 8).
* Stay Informed: Follow our page and the official GDE channels for the exact application dates and any crucial announcements.
* Check Your Internet Access: Ensure you have reliable internet access closer to the application period.

Please not the following ✍️

1️⃣Foreign nationals applying for school placement for their children must be legal in SA and proper documents to be handed in when making applications

2️⃣ Learners who are currently in grade R WILL NOT be automatically placed for grade 1, but they still have to apply at their schools or any walk-in centres.

3️⃣ documents to be submitted when making applications 😉
-Birth certificate
-Proof of residence
-Child Immunization Record
-Parent/Guadian ID copy
-Learners latest report (only for grade 8 applications)

• Foreign Learners: Foreign learners need to provide a passport or a copy of the parent's refugee or asylum seeker permit, or a study permit if applicable.
• Proof of Application (Study Permit): If the learner is not a South African citizen, a copy of their study permit or proof of application is required.

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear colleague, Endenet Hongo. He was laid to rest today, and our hearts are heavy with this loss.❤️

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Endenet Hongo's family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. May he rest in eternal peace.
