By igniting a passion for maths and science in young children we aim to develop the necessary skills and make it less intimidating when children grow older. Even though especially maths form part of all school's curriculum, one only becomes better and confident with practice. Thus, enough maths is never enough. Life skills (e.g. environmental issues, personal safety, money, health, manners etc.) t
hat are sometimes taken for granted are incorporated to shape youngsters into well-informed, knowledgeable children. Benefits:
- Problem solving
- Mathematical skills
- Social skills development
- Auditory skills - grasp verbal instructions
- Develop attentiveness, concentration and independence
What we do:
- We do experiments in various areas of science and maths
- Basic scientific/mathematic explanations are given for each experiment
- Life skills are explained, examples given and then a fun exercise is performed.
- All experiments are documented and explained in a โDo it againโ leaflet for each child to take home and interact with his/her parents
