🌿 Join us for a Saturday POP-UP PLAYDATE at Small World School!

Bring your little one along for a relaxed morning of play while you discover what makes Small World so special.

We’ll begin with a short introduction to our Reggio-inspired school, after which the children can explore and play while parents have the opportunity to chat with our teachers, ask questions, enjoy a cup of tea, and experience our beautiful environment at their own pace.

Small World is preparing to sing and dance and tell our stories for this year’s Africanarra 💙

A celebration of storytelling in “the hundred languages” — through music, movement, books, rhythm, imagination, words and no-words.

Africanarra 2026 is the Africa Reggio Emilia Alliance’s annual storytelling initiative, where Reggio Emilia-inspired schools across Africa co-create storytelling events in their own communities over the weekend of 22–24 May 2026 for:

✨ “Stories of winds, peace, hope, dreams, and wishes” ✨

We can’t wait to gather on the stoep and let the stories fly.

Stories that live inside us that JUST MUST OUT!

Stories that can make and remake the world 🌍Our pale blue dot 🔵- a landscape of stories, hurtling forward into the ever-expanding unknown.
