Takalani Sesame is the South African children’s broadcast programme. Helping children grow smarter, stronger and kinder.

A distinctly South African television, radio and community outreach program, Takalani Sesame has been designed to support the reception year of South Africa's national primary school curriculum. Through the ECD Registration Drive, in partnership with the Department of Basic Education South Africa, communities, and key stakeholders, we reached approximately 322 adults and 362 children through 8 activations. Together, we connected families with important information and equipped ECD owners and practitioners with tools and resources that help strengthen the foundations of early childhood development.
