We are from Isandla Senhliziyo, a registered NPO with the department of Social Development and Accredited by HWSETA. Our organization hereby offers SDL funded accredited training to employees of your NPO/NGO/PBO. This is an initiative of skills development, addressing directly the critical skill shortage we have in our country. The endeavor seeks empower employees, to match industry requirements, enhance youth career aspiration and further increase access into higher learning and training institutions.



We cordially invite your organization to participate in the Expression of Interest in the training that will be based on Primary Health Care and / or Occupational Health and Safety. Please find attached the skills programs on offer.



The criteria for legible organizations are as follows, the organization must have.....



: Must have a Skills Development Facilitator (if not available, fill in the SDF registration form)

: Levy Exempt certificate (if available, fill in the T number application form)
: Tax Clearance Certificate
: Cancelled cheque (original) OR proof of banking details(Bank Stamped letter):
: 3 months Bank statement
: Proof of Business Address: Utility Bill
: Proof of NPO / NGO Registration:
: Proof that Organization is Registered with Department of Social Development:

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE APPOINTMENT OF THE NEW SAIOSH PRESIDENT

Saiosh elected a new President at a Council Meeting held on 18 April 2017.

Sanjay Munnoo was officially inaugurated as the new Saiosh President at the prestigious Saiosh Annual Awards Function that was held at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg on 30 May 2017. More than 200 delegates witnessed the inauguration of the second Saiosh President.

Sanjay takes over the reins as Saiosh President from Robin Jones who held this position since the establishment of Saiosh on 11 February 2010.

About the new President:
Sanjay has over 15 years’ experience in the Risk and Financial Services Industry. He started his career at Alexander Forbes Compensation Technologies as Business Development Manager and is now employed at the Federated Employers’ Mutual Assurance Company Pty Ltd (RF) as Regional Manager. Sanjay is a passive private investor in property with a portfolio of over 58 000 sqm’s in the Durban Region.
Before being elected as Council Member at Saiosh, he held several leadership positions and was Chairman of the Board from 2012 to 2014 at the Workers Accident and Rehabilitation Centre (WARC) an initiative by the State Compensation Fund; Chairman of the KZN Master Builders Association Environmental, Health and Safety Committee from 2013 to 2016; Co-opted Committee Member at Saisoh KZN Branch from 2012 to 2014; Committee Member in 2016/17 at Building Industry Form (BIF); Chairman in 2017 at La Lucia Management Association; and Member of Management Committee (MANCO) at FEMA.
He is completing a PhD in Construction Management under the supervision of Professor John Smallwood at NMMU. Sanjay holds several qualifications which include Master of Business Administration (MBA); Diploma in Mechanical Engineering; Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com); Diploma in Financial Accounting; Diploma in Business Administration, Certificate in Health & Safety; Certificate in Taxation.
Sanjay is a Chartered Member (CMSaiosh) at Saiosh; Member of Production and Operations Management Society (POMS – USA); Member of the Black Management Forum (BMF); and Member of Astronomical Society of Southern Africa.
He is passionate at formulating policies and implementing strategies to prevent accidents at the work place. Enjoys spending time with his family. Hobbies include mountain biking, trail running and astronomy.
