What does it involve?
💚Self-direction: Where the child decides what game to play and how to play it.

💚Unstructured exploration: Children are allowed, and encouraged, to explore for themselves and select objects or activities based on their own interests.

💚Fun: Without a doubt, play time or activities, must be enjoyable for the child. Adults should not force certain activities.

💚Process-orientated: The process of the play is what matters most, there is no end goal or correct response.

Play-based learning is absolutely essential to increase emotional, language, cognitive and physical development as well as improve literacy skills, critical thinking and creativity.
