Growing a franchise network is exciting - but how do you maintain consistency and protect your brand standards as the network expands?

Our Founder, Genevieve Allen, joined Larry Hodes from GROW Business Coaching and Ricky Walton from SheerGuard SA for an insightful panel discussion at the Retail Summit in Sandton.

The session explored why locations within the same network may perform differently and how strong leadership, operational discipline, accountability and effective franchisee support can help businesses grow successfully without losing control.

It was a valuable conversation about the realities of franchising and the importance of maintaining a consistently high standard across every location.

As a member of the FASA: Franchise Association of Southern Africa Board of Directors, Genevieve is joining fellow Board member Mmenyana Ranku from MTN South Africa sharing her journey, industry insights and experiences as a woman in business and leadership.

☁️ SCIENCE MAGIC AT CLUB ENGAGE Dainfern College 🧪

Our little scientists were amazed when they created a cloud inside a bottle during the holiday programme!

With guidance from our Club Engage assistants, the children added a little rubbing alcohol to a clear plastic bottle. By carefully squeezing and releasing the bottle, they changed the air pressure inside and watched a misty cloud appear before their eyes!

It may have looked like magic, but it was science in action.

When the pressure was released, the air rapidly expanded and cooled. This caused the alcohol vapour to condense into thousands of tiny droplets, creating a cloud in much the same way that clouds form in the sky.

A wonderfully simple experiment filled with curious questions, excited faces and one very big “WOW!”

At Club Engage, learning is always more memorable when children can see it, explore it and experience it for themselves.
