The Student Council for the School of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand

The Wits CHMT student council aims to be the voice of students studying towards a chemical or metallurgical engineering degree. The council is composed of students elected from their 2nd - 4th year of whom pledge to dedicate their time and effort outside of their studies to aiding students within the school on academic, financial, access to amenities, and social issues. The council also aims to promote friendly events and communication between the student body and administration.

World's Youngest College Graduate Is an Engineer 13/11/2019

Laurent Simpsons, a 9-year-old boy with an IQ of 145, started high school at age of six and he is almost done with his final project as a Electrical engineer. He will be the youngest to get a bachelor's degree at this age after taking Michael Kearney, who is currently youngest graduate, down.

World's Youngest College Graduate Is an Engineer The β€œMiracle Boy” Laurent Simons will be the youngest person to get a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology.

The CHMT student would like to thank all the speakers and the participants who made it to the event. It was a nice discussion about the 4IR with a nicely informed messages from speakers and their life experiences and knowledge really helped in better understanding of the 4IR.

Students are advice to participate to have a broad knowledge about current industrial revolution and its applications in corporate world.
