☕ Pajama Day Fun! ☕❄️
What a fun-filled day at school! Our children enjoyed coming to school in their cozy pajamas and were treated to hot chocolate with marshmallows to keep warm on this chilly winter’s day.
Smiles, laughter, and wonderful memories all around! 💙

On Friday, 12 June, our students celebrated the end of their examinations with a special Father’s Day gathering. Dads and special father figures joined us for coffee, doughnuts, photographs, and quality time with their children. The morning was a wonderful reminder of the important role that parents and caregivers play in supporting, encouraging, and guiding our children each day. Thank you to all who joined us and helped make the occasion so special.
We wish all our dads and father figures a very happy Father’s Day and thank them for the love, support, and positive influence they have in the lives of our children.

Our JP students had an absolute blast celebrating the 100th day of school by dressing up as 100-year-olds! 👵👴💯 From gray hair and glasses to walking sticks and big smiles, the creativity was incredible. What a fun way to mark 100 days of learning, growth, and memories together! 🎉

Our students were given an opportunity to take part in a Public Speaking and Impromptu Speech evening recently, where they had the chance to showcase their confidence, creativity, and quick thinking under pressure. Each speaker demonstrated impressive communication skills as they tackled unexpected topics with clarity and poise.

It was wonderful to see students supporting one another, listening respectfully, and growing in self-assurance as they shared their ideas with an audience. Events like these play an important role in building essential life skills such as critical thinking, articulation, and self-confidence.

We are incredibly proud of every participant for stepping up and embracing the challenge with enthusiasm and courage.

Natural Resources – The Importance of Trees

This term, our Stage 5D have been exploring Natural Resources and discovering how nature provides us with many of the things we use every day. This week, we focused on Trees and their importance in our lives.

Using their creativity and knowledge, the children created beautiful tree artworks showing some of the many products that come from trees, including wood, paper, furniture, cotton, medicine, food, pulses, and even the oxygen we breathe.

Through discussions, art, and hands-on learning, the children learned that trees are a valuable natural resource that provide us with shelter, materials, food, and clean air. We also spoke about the importance of protecting our environment by caring for trees and planting more of them for future generations.

This week in the nest class, our little explorers learned about cold winter animals, with a special focus on the penguin. We discovered where penguins live in very cold, icy places, what they eat like fish, krill and squid and how they stay in freezing temperature using their thick layer of fat( blubber) and waterproof feathers.
We also learned that penguins are great swimmers and spend a lot of time in the ocean.
For our art creativity, the children created their own penguin artwork. They used pieces of black plastic represent the penguin's feather, helping them explore different textures and colours. They painted their feet to make the penguin's feet and added a triangle shape for the beak. The children also explored different shapes in their artwork, helping them to develop their shape recognition skills, creativity and fine motor development.

On Monday, our students proudly took part in Barefoot Day to raise awareness of the challenges faced by children who do not have access to proper footwear.

Not only did they walk barefoot in solidarity, but they also generously donated shoes to help those less fortunate in our community. We are incredibly proud of the compassion, kindness, and generosity shown by our students and families.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make a difference—one step at a time. ❤️
