✨ A Look at What We’ve Been Up To! ✨

Our programmes have been busy creating opportunities for people to learn new skills, build confidence and take steps towards sustainable livelihoods. ❤️

📍 Pretoria - Plumbing & Solar Geyser Installation 🔧☀️
Participants have been gaining practical skills in plumbing and solar geyser installation, preparing them for opportunities in the technical and construction sectors.

📍 Hillbrow - Beauty Training 💄
Our beauty training participants have been gaining practical, hands-on skills while building their confidence and exploring opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship.

📍 Hillbrow - Sewing Training 🧵
Our sewing class is currently underway, with participants developing practical sewing skills and gaining the confidence to turn their creativity into opportunities for income generation.

But our work goes beyond skills development. 🌱

During Women’s Month in August, we also held two Human Rights Workshops, one in Pretoria and one in Hillbrow, focusing on Women’s Rights. The workshops provided a space for women to learn about their rights, share experiences and have meaningful conversations around empowerment and equality.

From developing practical skills to understanding and standing up for our rights, our programmes are about creating opportunities, building confidence and empowering communities.

We are proud of what our participants have been busy with and look forward to sharing more of their journeys with you! ❤️

❤️ A beautiful Women’s Day celebration at Outreach Foundation! 🌸

Friday was such a special day for the women at Outreach Foundation. It was lovely to take a break from our usual work and simply celebrate and appreciate the women we work alongside every day.

Our management team went the extra mile to make us feel special by preparing gifts for all the women. It was such a thoughtful gesture and we truly appreciated it. 💐

And to make the day even more special, the men in our organisation prepared lunch for us. 🥰 The effort, thought and kindness behind it did not go unnoticed. We enjoyed the food, the laughter and, most importantly, spending time together as a team.

Thank you to all the men who made the day so special. ❤️

🎉 Congratulations to Our Plumbing and Sewing Graduates in Tshikhudini, Musina! 🎓

We are proud to celebrate the successful completion of our Plumbing and Sewing training programmes in Tshikhudini, Musina.

🍞 Five days, one new skill, and many new possibilities.

Last Friday, our Bread Baking participants proudly completed their five-day training course.

For many, this was more than just learning how to bake bread. It was about gaining a practical skill that can help put food on the table, earn an income and open doors to new opportunities.

Throughout the week, participants learnt how to prepare and bake different types of bread while also building their confidence in the kitchen. Their commitment and enthusiasm made the training a great success.

A big congratulations to everyone who completed the course. We are proud of what you’ve achieved and can’t wait to see where these new skills take you.

Together, we’re building stronger communities, one skill at a time. 💙
