At Bouncing Bunnies our activities centre around stimulating age appropriate physical development.

Bouncing Bunnies officially opened its doors in September 2015. We make use of balls, bubbles, hoops, bean bags, parachutes, gymnastics equipment and soft play toys to encourage children to move! Our lesson plans and play components have been designed with specific goals in mind to improve balance, control, co-ordination, strength and flexibility; which in turn helps to improve a child’s body awar

And that's a wrap on holiday camp. 🐰

What a week - happy squeals, wobbly handstands, and coaches who absolutely did not hold back.

We're taking a well-earned breather and recharging for what's coming next term. The bunnies aren't the only ones who need rest days.

We'll be closed 15 - 30 August and back, bouncing, and ready to go from 31 August.

See you then. Have a hoppy day! 🐰

🎉 THIS WEEK: FUN WEEK! 🎉

We made it, bunnies! The final week of term is HERE and we're saying goodbye the only way we know how - with a whole week of pure, unfiltered FUN 🌟

No new skills, no pressure, no plans - just games, giggles, and the chance for our little gymnasts to celebrate everything they've learned this term.

Expect:

🐰 Silly games & obstacle courses
🐰 Free choice on all the apparatus
🐰 Favourite skills on repeat
🐰 Coach-led shenanigans 🙃
🐰 A LOT of well-earned high fives

Take a look back at where our bunnies started this term - the wobbly rolls, the brave first hangs, the "I did it!" moments - and you'll see just how far these little humans have come. So proud of every single one of them 💕

Tag a bunny who's had the BEST term! 🎊

Have a hoppy day! 🐰

Not every bunny walks in ready to play. 🐰

Some need a minute. Some need the right person.

Coach Moss is that person.

No pressure, no rush - just the kind of calm, joyful energy that makes even the most hesitant little one forget they were ever unsure. Those squeals? Earned.

This is what great coaching actually looks like. It doesn't always make the highlight reel. But it's always the most important thing happening in the room.

Have a hoppy day!

Looks like fun, right? 🐰

It is. But there is so much more going on here than meets the eye.

That suspended swing isn't just a good time - it's one of the most developmentally rich tools we use. Every session on it is quietly doing this:

🧠 Vestibular stimulation - the swinging, spinning and tilting trains the inner ear, which is the foundation for balance, coordination and even focus in the classroom

💪 Core activation - holding position in an unstable, suspended environment fires up deep core muscles kids don't even know they're using

🫁 Body awareness - being supported while moving through space teaches a child where their body is and how it moves - a skill called proprioception that underpins almost every physical activity they'll ever do

😌 Sensory regulation - for many kids, this kind of gentle vestibular input is genuinely calming. It organises the nervous system in ways that can improve mood, attention and behaviour

🤝 Trust - and then there's that smile in image one. That's a child who feels completely safe. That matters more than any drill we could run.

Fun? Absolutely. But never just fun.

Have a hoppy day!

⚡ THIS WEEK: VAULT SKILLS ⚡

Back to the vault, bunnies - but this time we mean business! 🚀

After weeks of building strength, balance and bravery, our little gymnasts are ready to bring it ALL together and take their vault skills to the next level. Bigger run-ups, cleaner take-offs, tighter shapes and prouder landings - this week is where it all clicks!

This week we're focusing on:

🐰 Powerful, confident run-ups
🐰 Explosive springboard take-offs
🐰 Tucked & piked shapes in the air
🐰 Strong, controlled landings
🐰 Putting it all together with confidence

There's nothing quite like watching a little gymnast finally nail a vault they've been working on for weeks. Expect a whole lot of "DID YOU SEE ME?!" energy this week 🌟

Tag a tiny flyer who's earned their wings! ✈️

Have a hoppy day! 🐰

Not every flip lands perfectly the first time. Or the second. Or the third.

But every single time, there's a hand there to catch her. That's the part that matters most - not the perfect flip, but learning that trying again is always safe here.

She'll get it. We're not going anywhere. 🐰

Have a hoppy day!

Every week our coaches suit up, take it completely seriously, and throw themselves into the demonstration.

Every week the bunnies watch, copy, and somehow make it look better. 🐰

We don't talk about it.

Have a hoppy day!

Coach vs. Bunny. 🐰

One of them has been doing this for years.
One of them is 4.

Who did it better? (Don't answer that.)

⚡ THIS WEEK: FRONT & BACK HANDSPRINGS ⚡

This is a BIG one, bunnies! Handsprings are one of the most exciting skills in gymnastics - that moment when a little gymnast realises they can actually flip is pure magic ✨

This week we're working on:
🐰 Bridge and back-bend strength
🐰 Handstand-to-handspring drills
🐰 Front handspring shape and take-off
🐰 Back handspring build-up
🐰 Confidence, courage & lots of spotting!

Handsprings take time, trust and tons of practice - and every wobbly attempt is one step closer to that "I did it all by myself!" moment we're all cheering for 💖

Have a hoppy day! 🐰

Every kid is currently attempting handstands against every wall in your house. We just gave them a better one. 🐰
