On Thursday, 12 August 2026, our Grade 12 pupils received their Matric Dance invitations from our enthusiastic Grade 1 students.

The girls made a grand entrance at the Lower Grades Block, walking the red carpet through a guard of honour formed by the little ones.

Following this heartwarming moment, the Matric students took time to write encouraging notes for the younger learners, handing the baton to the Foundation Phase pupils, creating a beautiful bond across the grades.

The heartwarming occasion continued with everyone enjoying a delightful selection of snacks and raising a toast with sparkling juice.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated staff who orchestrated the setup, and to Texamo Spur Steak Ranch and Panarottis Oakdene for sponsoring the refreshments.

Thank you for the difference you make every day through your strength, kindness and dedication.

Last week, the Grade 5 students engaged in a reflective exercise centered on the teachings of Jesus, specifically Matthew 5:13, "You are the salt of the earth." The session concluded with an activity where students metaphorically "added flavor to our world" using salt, paint, and brushes. 🧂🌍

On Sunday, 26 July, the Church celebrated the Feast of Saints Joachim and Anne, the parents of Mary, making it a special day to honour grandparents.

In the days leading up to the celebration, our McAuley House Grade 3 learners spent their Art lesson creating 89 heartfelt greeting cards for the elderly parishioners of St Philip Neri Catholic Church in Moletsane, Soweto.

The celebration was a wonderful success, and the cards brought smiles and joy to many of the parish's senior members. We are proud of our Grade 3s for sharing kindness, gratitude and the Mercy spirit with the community.

Welcome to Term 3, McAuley House family! 💙💛

We are super proud of grade 6 learner Bohlale Tshabalala who earned a place in the National Final of the Reading Riot competition. In the Final at the University of Pretoria, she was place 1st in Gauteng and 6th nationally. What an amazing achievement!
