GOD IS WITH US

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 AMP
[1] If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love [for others growing out of God’s love for me], then I have become only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal [just an annoying distraction]. [2] And if I have the gift of prophecy [and speak a new message from God to the people], and understand all mysteries, and [possess] all knowledge; and if I have all [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have love [reaching out to others], I am nothing. [3] If I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it does me no good at all.

Anything that is done outside of love matters not because it is then done purely out of selfish desires masked as a form of love or care, its a selfish motive and desire for glory, admiration and adoration which will come from the people that are watching under the assumption that you are a good person performing sincere deeds.

There are so many that fall into the loveless category and are more or rather opportunistic people looking for any form of glory or acceptance through lifting themselves up.

If this is where you find yourself, God can order your footsteps and redirect you back to Himself only if you ask Him to and remember be strong and courageous we are just passing through this season and learning.

1 Corinthians 12:28 AMP
[28] So God has appointed and placed in the church [for His own use]: first apostles [chosen by Christ], second prophets [those who foretell the future, those who speak a new message from God to the people], third teachers, then those who work miracles, then those with the gifts of healings, the helpers, the administrators, and speakers in various kinds of [unknown] tongues.

The church just like the human body has parts that if all are done righteously and filled by the right individuals, the body of Christ does the greater works as Christ foretold.

The biggest problem is that everyone wants the role that seems to attract the most attention which leads to fame and ofcourse they hope for the fortune to follow the fame hence why some pastors now have appearance fees, guest fees, prayer fees, seat arrangement fees and others demand that there be only certain types of food, beverages and at times a certain amount of celebrities present in the service.

The body becomes disfuctional when the parts dont play their roles effectively and if you are that part and are struggling to remain in Christ dont worry you are work in progress Christ has got you, be strong and courageous we are just passing through this season and learning.
