Provisional results of Mine Transportation are out. They are looking good and it was a pleasure, thanks you all.

I made mistake. For RMS calculation follow the book method and not the way we did in class. If confused, come to class tomorrow morning.

Get 2012 exam and 2013 suppl question papers in the shared drive. Under Store, go to Courses then MINN3001.

In the event you are conflicted, i.e. choosing between Miners' Day and Mine Transportion, come to MDL at 10:15 tomorrow. That's my advice.

I had to make necessary changes to a group list I got from Charon to ensure a manageable load. Some of you may not be happy but that is how it is.

To carry out class projects successfully, it is always prudent to have group leaders and regular meetings. Start early and use the coming break productively. Remember you must first familiarised yourselves with open pit mining and then select matching load and haul equipment. Have fun and be creative!

Guys, your MINN3001 project groups are posted on the notice board. Start early lest you loose valuable time.

We are having mine transportation tutorial today.

Lecture schedule return to normality on tomorrow (Friday), i.e. double of ventilation and double of transportation. Tranportation lecture will be in WSS5 (auditorium 5)

Hi guys, your test will take place in RW4&5 at 08:00am on the 11th of March. The test will cover TUT 1 to 3 (calculations) and lecture 1 to 7 (theory).

Guys tackle Tut 2 for Monday, otherwise enjoy your weekend.

Don't forget that Mine Transportation lectures on Fridays are in Mine Design lab (4th floor) and not LB144 for now
