Congratulations to Nkanyezi Mlipha, a proud St Declan’s learner, on his incredible performance at the SACSSA Cross Country National Championships.

Nkanyezi claimed a bronze medal in the Boys U16 4 km race, while also setting a new personal best time—one of the standout performances of the day. His national success follows an exceptional season, including a 1st place finish in the Southern District and a Top 20 district ranking.

Your hard work, perseverance, and passion for the sport continue to inspire those around you. We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved and look forward to seeing what comes next.

A day filled with determination, teamwork, and great cricket from our boys!

● U11s delivered an outstanding performance, defeating Colin Mann by 9 runs after posting 136/5 from their 20 overs.

● U13s fought right until the very last ball in a thrilling contest, falling just 1 run short. A performance full of heart and resilience that the team can be proud of.

Well done to every player for representing St Declan's with passion and sportsmanship. We celebrate the victories, learn from the close contests, and continue to grow stronger together.

As we begin a new term, we took the opportunity to celebrate the incredible achievements of our boys at our Awards Assembly.

Learners were recognised for placing in the Top 10 of their respective grades, a wonderful reflection of the effort and discipline they have shown throughout the term.

We also celebrated outstanding accomplishments in both sport and culture, recognising those who continue to make a meaningful impact beyond the classroom.
