😂🎨THE ST. DECLAN’S CULPRITS WHO CAUSED COLOURFUL CHAOS! 🌈

Another St. Declan’s Adventure, our learners came ready to run, but our staff came ready to BLAST powder paint! 💥😂

Buckets were filled. Powder was flying. And Ms Long decided that one handful simply wasn’t enough. 🤣🌈

Cheers to the staff who weren’t afraid to get messy, join in the fun and help make our Color Run one to remember!

The evidence is colorful and our staff are simply incredible. 😂💙💚 Thank you for helping create memories that families will talk about forever!

🌈 COLOR RUN — PART 2! 🎨💥

And because one post simply wasn’t enough… here’s Part 2 of the color chaos! 😂

From running, jumping and tackling the obstacle courses to getting absolutely covered in powdered paint, our Color Run was packed with energy, laughter and plenty of colorful memories. 💙💚💛❤️

With obstacle courses set up around the school, our staff made sure nobody escaped clean — blasting our parents and learners with clouds of powdered color as they made their way through! 🌈😂

A huge thank you once again to our Foundation Phase teachers, Sports Department, parents and learners for bringing the energy and making the day such a memorable one.

Swipe through and relive some of the best moments! 📸✨

St. Declan’s — making memories, one colour-filled moment at a time. 🐉💙

🌈 Things got VERY colorful at St. Declan’s this morning!🎨🏃‍♂️

Our Foundation Phase Color Run had our students, parents and teachers running, jumping, crawling and racing their way through a series of obstacle courses set up all around the school. And just when you thought you were making it through clean…

At each obstacle, our staff were waiting with plenty of powdered paint to blast the runners with! 🎨💥

It was a morning filled with loads of laughs, messy shirts, plenty of color and some seriously good energy.

A huge thank you to our Foundation Phase teachers and Sports Department for putting everything together, and of course to all our parents and learners who came through, got involved and joined in on the fun.

We think it’s safe to say there were very few white shirts left by the end of the day! 😂🌈💙

What an adventure! 🤩

Our Grade 6 boys have returned from an AMAZING 3 days at Sediba Kwele! 🏕️

It was all about *TEAM BUILDING, LEADERSHIP & BROTHERHOOD* 💙💪

From soaring on the zip line 😎, to conquering the obstacle courses, getting absolutely covered in mud baths 🤣 and just having the BEST time together as brothers — what a way to end their Primary School journey!

We are so proud of these young men!

🥣🔥 SATURDAYS SERVED WITH PURPOSE! 🔥🥣

What better way to spend a Saturday than bringing hungry people together, serving up warm meals and putting smiles on faces?💙

Our Soup Kitchen was buzzing with energy, kindness and community spirit as our St Declan’s family came together to give back and lend a helping hand. 🙌🏽

Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about what we have — it’s about what we can give and how we can help make a difference in the world 💙🐉

🎬🍿ST. DECLAN’S MOVIE NIGHT! 🍿🎬

Friday night was all about family, fun and a little movie magic! ✨

Our school community came together for a special screening of The Wild Robot, with families enjoying a relaxed evening together under the big screen. 🎥🤖

For just R100 per ticket, everyone received a Slush Puppy and popcorn — because no movie night is complete without the snacks! 🍿🥤

Our Grade 11 boys also got into the action, selling sweets and snacks to raise funds towards their Matric Dance. 🍭💙

With chip and dip, plenty of treats and some quality family time, it was an evening enjoyed by all who attended. 🥳

Thank you to our families for joining us and making it such a special night! 💙🐉

🍽️ FROM THE TEXTBOOK TO THE TABLE!📚➡️🍴

Our Grade 10 Business Studies boys recently took learning to a whole new level! As part of their IEB practical task, they explored the restaurant and quick-service industry, focusing on the 7 P’s of Marketing— Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process and Physical Evidence — while putting their communication and service skills to the test.

But this wasn’t just a presentation… our boys had to serve!👨‍🍳✨

We gave our learners the freedom to transform a classroom into their very own sit-down restaurant, and their creativity was limitless! From the restaurant concepts and décor to the menus, product presentation, pricing, promotion and service — the boys brought their ideas to life.

Teachers and selected Grade 11 pupils were then treated to their very own three-course meal and drinks, served in true restaurant style. 🍽️🥤

Because while we can teach a concept from a textbook, it is through practical experiences that knowledge is truly tested, understood and instilled.

And WOW… our boys served us well!👏🔥

Take a look at the pictures and see what happens when learning leaves the textbook and enters the real world! 📸
