Hi, I am Win and I have been teaching art classes for fifteen years. It took ten years to finish my BAFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) degree while running my own business. I taught for three years at a school but later realised my passion lay in teaching adults. I teach five classes a week and run workshops in drawing, painting in watercolour, acrylics, oils and pastels. My passion for teaching art is

echoed in the work of my students which you can view both here and on Pintrest. Even if you have never picked up a pencil or paintbrush I will help you connect with the artist within you.

When you are out in nature and you want to do some painting or drawing from life,here are my tips.1.Try to focus on one thing that catches your attention, a tree, a cottage, don't be overwhelmed by the vastness of your surroundings.2.Be aware of distances between objects. 3.Dont try to reproduce exactly what colours you see in every leaf, free yourself to be creative. 4. Take at least 4 reference photos, don't work from them until later.Try to respond to what attracted you to the picture in the first place.

End of the art teaching year and I am very pleased with what we together achieved this year. My online drawing course went very well. I just have to get it ready for marketing now. I started quite a few new students this year. Some students have left for different reasons and we really miss them. Posting some very good work which now is finished. Happy Christmas to all my students , see you next year.
