What’s the difference between Checkers60 & Pick n Pay Dash?

This is not a brand review but an observation that brought an aha moment!

In the spare of the moment we decided we no longer going to the shops. Yes it’s winter & who wants to 🙆🏾‍♀️😅. Because we were going to Pick n Pay, without much reflection. I hopped on their App & started shopping.

It is not until the beneficiary(big boy) came storming in..where’s my Super M? That’s when I went onto the app only to be greeted by a 2 hours later delivery timeline🥹🙆🏾‍♀️. “Oh my gosh it is not Checkers60”, I blurted out. They did not make the promise that we’ve grown accustomed to. In fact they can bring it the next day for all I know-this could be an exaggeration so don’t mind me ☺️🤦🏾‍♀️.

The promises we make are what others hold you to…a thought interrupted my irritation. If you don’t say anything you might catch strays but you can rest assured nothing would come of it. But if you dare to declare it, it’s a social contract🤞🏾.

So I am very cognisant of this in how I position us in “Grow people•Grow businesses”. We have an obligation now that we have made the claim! We are held to account by those who dare believe that promise. And I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve in that way.

This experience reminded me about what we do here and why we do it. As I write this we are still waiting & the little one keeps coming back to confirm. I wondered if this was intentional for Pick n Pay or not. 14:30 they confirmed the order..it says expected delivery time 16:00-16:30 ( who’s guessing that they just lost a client on ASAP🤷🏾‍♀️

What a Vibrant Youth Month with Her Voice Group! 🌟

As June 2025 wraps up, we are buzzing from an incredible Youth Month! We celebrated South Africa’s youth with passion, hosting our first face-to-face meeting with The Female Foundry participants, where Bankseta joined us to champion their entrepreneurial journey. From workshops to mentorship, we continued empowering young women to shine in the marketplace. Stay tuned for more as we keep uplifting those who wear their identity, speak their truth, and live boldly!
