True Cost

I'm sharing to bring awareness to the true cost of our decisions when buying clothes that has a ripple effect around the globe.
Not to make anyone feel guilty, but rather get educated that we as consumers do have a say.
We need to be mindful of our choices. We need to feel that we are enough without having to rush out every second week and buy garments to feel fulfilled.
We need to get educated on how to style ourselves,because we are NOT the mannequin.
Dressing to enhance your features and communicate your personality is a skill...learn it. Go inwards and stop consuming to fill the void..You are enough!

What has locked down taught you about your wardrobe?

We are all discovering new parts of ourselves, some fantastic, others not so great!All insight though and if we take these nuggets of insight and apply changes where necessary we can transition to better version of self. Ultimately living lighter and free.

For instance, ladies in corporate, have you discovered that you hardly have any casual or "lounge"clothes? This could be that your main focus was just work, not enough relax and fun times.

Or maybe your wardrobe is very printed and now it's just too busy for Zoom, Facebook and Instagram lives? A very busy and printed wardrobe is normally a sign of a busy mind, lots going on, not enough time for reflection.

Or maybe you have realized how much time you have wasted getting dressed, after all leggings and tights don't require ironing? This could also promote time for meditation, fitting in yoga or some form of exercise. Providing inner peace, instead of always looking perfect but feeling burnt out.

Yes! ladies we do wear our emotions, our wardrobe does tell a story. What is yours saying?
