Today we ran a workshop for the Trinity House grade 7s. Our aim was to prepare them for their transition into high school next year!
Through some high energy games, deep process work and powerful visualization techniques, we taught these kids the following:
1) Gratitude for what they have right now
2) What is their vision for the future
3) Speaking up for what they believe in
Thanks to this powerful team for making this happen 🙏 Phil Keye Shakes Dlutu Brandon John Copley

Youth Day commemorates the Soweto youth uprising of 16 June 1976. In 1975 protests started in African schools after a directive from the then Bantu Education Department that Afrikaans had to be used on an equal basis with English as a language of instruction in secondary schools.
In 2019 we are faced with bullying and violence at schools.
At Infinity Tribe Youth Development – we understand the 2019 school environment.

Teenagers often fall prey to Cyberbullying.
What is Cyberbullying?
Cyberbullying is bullying using the Internet, Facebook and other social media platforms to bully, embarrass and harass your child.
It's really scary because Cyberbullying doesn't stop at the school gate ... it can go on throughout the night.
What can you do about it? How can you protect your child?
At Infinity Tribe Youth Development – we know what to do about it.
Our facilitators will provide a free 90-minute workshop at your school .

"You are black and ugly" is what one of our students was told yesterday. After taking this 12 year old black girl through a coaching process called "The Blessing in the Stressing", she discovered that this horrible comment actually served her in some way. She learned that this taught her to:
- Stand up against her bully
- Love herself more
- Be closer to God
Its important to show our youth, that their tough situations have hidden blessings in them. If you can help them to find that, it is like GOLD!
Here is a video we use in our Tools for Bullying workshop to help explain this concept to the kids!
